When designing, there are a lot of creations that do not make it to the table, so to speak. This is one of those that gets lost in a string of investigative images. They lose to the one that someone picks…but I picked this one out and am posting it. Now it can go in it’s proper folder and left alone. This happens to may thousands a year…I have faith that one day I will find a way to display them all.

This is a nice logo I designed for a friend,  Kim Koenig (Koenig Travel). It has a depth I like in logos, which was created through photoshop of course. I believe that a logo should be able to be broken down and simplified-and still be recognized. That is why I start my work in Illustrator. A lot of times I sketch things out, but I can sometimes skip that element and start digitally. My designs across the board are all very different. And research before hand makes that possible. Being able to produce differently is a discovery. I think that is my consistency in design…it doesn’t all  look the same.

Fun sketches…
